The Story:

Written by Thomas Davis, "Please Don't Tell me How the Story Ends" is just one of many short stories in the in his book called “Philosophy: An Introduction Through Fiction, Discussions, and Readings”. The main character comes upon a large book shelf containing books of various subjects.  everything he does is detailed in the books with a time stamp on the page. So when he opens to a random page for the first time, the page says the he opened the book to X page and began reading. The tale follows his struggle between self-freedom and determinism
