The Artist's Coffee began in 2017 with a clear vision: to offer artists quality coffee while helping other artists. The Artist’s Coffee is a new brand of coffee that appeals primarily to the long, grueling, off hours of contemporary artists. Artists find creativity and inspiration at any time of day or night, and thus find themselves working at odd times. This coffee promotes energy, without keeping an artist up past their working time. This product is also sold in packaging designed by drawers, painters, graphic designers and sculptors. Any artist can submit a design for the chance to be featured on one of the bags of beans, and similarly, any artist purchasing the product can decide which packaging they want to select at checkout. A portion of the proceeds from the coffee goes to the artist who designed the packaging. Lastly, the packaging will match the blend and taste of the coffee. Thin strokes from a local drawer will appeal to a lighter roast, while the harsh, jagged and colorful lines that encompass a graphic designer’s work in illustrator will promote a darker roast.
